Research
The center conducts research on a variety of issues through multi-disciplinary on-farm studies conducted in many states and around the world. Graduate students use and develop innovative techniques to study spatial and temporal variability in crop yield and quality, soil and landscape attributes, and precision crop management practices. Our researchers have access to top of the line equipment and facilities including both hardware and software.
Outreach
The Outreach program partners with industry, farmers, and academics to develop content for training modules. Present areas of emphasis include remote sensing, yield map interpretation, intensive soil sampling methods, on farm experiment design, and precision farming profitability studies.
Education
The Center’s greatest contribution will be it’s legacy of practitioners, researchers and educators.
